Principal Designer

Justin's love of architecture was nurtured on the

coastlines of New England, the mountains of Vermont,

and the cultural institutions of New York City.  After attending a program at the Rhode Island School of Design, his passion and dedication to design was solidified at young age

Justin's architectural career began in 2003 in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Degree in Architecture from the Boston Architectural College while simultaneously working over the course of 15 years for firms of varying size and specialty in the Greater Boston and Tri-State areas including Sheskey Architects, ICON Architecture and Jim Denno Designs.  Justin's project experience has included historic restoration, institutional, mixed-use, and commercial archetypes.   Primary specialties included luxury multi-family residential project design, construction detailing and documentation, large-scale project management, and

production software leadership.

After relocating to Cleveland Ohio with his wife and fellow architect Heather Davies in 2018, Justin had the pleasure of working with Bialosky Cleveland and Paskevich & Associates where his love for Western Reserve architecture and the people of Ohio inspired the creation of Davies Architecture, drawing upon the expertise of local craftsman, colleagues, and collaborators to design intimate and unique spaces for families and businesses.

Justin's free time is spent enjoying live music, cooking, and his family.  Justin maintains his license to practice architecture in Massachusetts, Ohio, and Connecticut.

Heather's passion for architecture and design began during her childhood travels and frequent visits to the museums of Cleveland and Boston.  After earning her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Ohio State University,  Heather continued on to Boston to earn a Master's Degree in Architecture from the

Boston Architectural College where she studied, practiced, and raised a family for 12 years.

Summer internships during school were spent at Paskevich & Associates in Cleveland, OH working on drawing the intimate details of country homes in the Western Reserve.  Heather's focus on custom residential design continued in Boston at the firms of

Christopher Hall Architects  and Boyes-Watson Architects,

specializing in design, production, and project management of

custom residential homes and businesses throughout Boston, Cambridge, and the New England shores.

After returning to her roots in Cleveland Ohio with family in tow, Heather has continued to pursue her passion for customized home design and fostering the relationships that make Ohio a special place for families to live and grow.  Heather's ability to translate the dreams and values of her clients into well-crafted spaces has been proven through her work with Goerge Clemens Architects

and custom home projects for family and friends..

Heather's free time is spent enjoying her family,

exercising, and engaging with the community in

Shaker Heights, OH where her family resides.
